Non biker looking for advise on a 60 mile round commute on a 125cc?

For that length of journey, I would look into a four stroke motorcycle instead of a scooter. DON'T buy a two-stroke such as the aprilia rs125 for reliability issues. Don't be mislead by its good looks. I've owned one. You can't go wrong with a honda. the Chinese imports are OK and cheap to buy only IF YOU TAKE YOUR TIME as they can't take the thrash. It is also better to get a geared bike and you'll soon pick up how to use it after a bit of practise and guidance from another rider.
