What is more expensive home energy: oil, gas, electric, heat pump or propane?

I'm buying a home in the Philadelphia suburbs, about 2000 sq ft, and I can't get a straight answer from my real estate agent. I don't know what type of house to buy and what to avoid. Thanks!
