How do I make the bios see the correct motherboard?

I have a gigabyte ga-7zx rev 5.1 mobo, and when the computer boots up, it says it is a ga-7zxh, and the everest program that I also used said it was a ga-7zxh. When I try to update the bios, it comes up with the error bios tag error. Can i force flash the bios by holding ctrl-home? Should I force flash it? Not only that, when I try to install any type of gigabyte product, like @bios, it comes up and says it (presumably the mobo) is not a gigabyte product. What is wrong?
