Need advise?

My mom and I have always been really close, but lately she is driving me up the wall. I now have a two year old and am 23. I live with my fiance and my daughter only five min. away from my parents. We are talking about moving to another state, after we get married. (from California to Colorado or Texas) I sort of asked my mom's opinion on it once and she said if I took her granddaughter and myself away from her she would just die and be really mad at me. But we really want a change and our own new life, so to speak. Also California is just too expensive! Please help with any opions.
