Recently laid tile lost it's lustre?

I removed as much as the grout haze as I could by simply wiping down. It doesn't look like there is any haze left, but my tiles don't seem as dark and shiny as they did before grouting. I don't think it's leftover grout haze, but even if it was there are squares of marble in the design, so I don't think I can use the commercial haze out. Is there any way to get the shine and color back in my tiles? Should I buff the floor with sheepskin, flannel, or something like that?

Didn't get a chance to watch it- but looking forward to it. Heard it was good, but then he doesn't have anything to prove to me on a religous stand point because i am mormon. Once i watch it i will comment on it- but did want to mention to YOUCANTB... he wasn't being decietful or dishonest in saying or implying that he is christian. We do believe that we are christian- just because we don't fall under whatever you have decided constitutes a christian, doesn't mean that we are not. Mormonism does have some different doctrine than other denominations- but all denominations have differences- that's why there are so many. We all fall under the umbrella of christianity. We believe and follow the bible, we believe that Christ is our savior, and died and atoned for our sins- we believe His teachings, and strive to live by them. Besides- even if other christians don't consider that christian- that doesn't mean he lied. To lie would mean for him to believe that he was not christian and knowingly decieved others in believing that he was. We whole heartdly believe that we are christian. We are not decieving others in saying this- this is what we believe and consider ourselves. Some catholics believe that all but them are not christian because all others are branched off the "original" and what they feel is the only true church. Does that make them right? Does that mean that you aren't christian and are lying when you say you are? Basically what im trying to say is- we are not christian just because someone else decides we are not. It says in the bible that followers of christ will be known by their actions (their fruits). Not whether or not we believe in the trinity. You have certainly shown that you know how to care for pets even if you do not like them. Is there somewhere like an animal charity nearby, where you can volunteer to help with the dogs and learn to al them weekends? Then use the skill for walking elderly people's dogs. Your parents will then know from this and the way that you care for the birds that you can look after them. Do be aware of the expense of having a pet, you need to take out insurance and someone has to pay for for food, toys, blankets etc. Are you old enough to do a paper round to help with costs? Maybe with a friend to make it fun. A lot of sweeping up is also needed. Show you will help with housework. I dunno about the fastest PC ever so far but if it is now in a week it will be out of date. My friend collected over 400 old Intel dual core computers and networked them together and its pretty quick. But it can't do things like just one PC can do he is using it to crunch Fractals. I had never seen a fractal build that fast ever in the blink of an eye the screen was packed. But you should have no problem playing games thats for sure.

New mom...need advice and sharing?

I'm sorry you are having to go through this. I know how hard it can be to leave your baby and go back to work. If your daughter is crying like this with everyone except you it may be that she just isn't use to the sitter yet and that she wants mommy. Have you tried taking something that she loves to the sitter with her like her favorite blanket? Another suggestion would be to maybe give the sitter a shirt that you wear that way when the baby isn't calming down she can try laying her on the floor next to your shirt (your daughter might be able to smell your scent and be comforted by that). You could even do a trail run of that with dad. And yes babies do know their mother's scent as well as their voice. I have fed both of my kids and my daughter seems (especially around that age) much more attached to me. I'm glad to hear that you have started introducing the bottle and the sitter to her before you actually have to go back to work. I would try to nurse and then pump to try and increase your milk and if you give her bottle then try to nurse after pumping. pumps can't empty the like a baby can and that will probably help with the milk supply as well. As far as cereal goes...I would try to wait until she is at least 4 months. I ended up giving my son cereal when he was almost 4 months, but it was always a hit and miss thing and the only reason I started him so early was because I had to go back to work and he refused to take a bottle. He would go about 7 hours without eating. Lucky for me he was a really happy baby and he didn't seem affected by not eating at all. Hope that helps a little and Good Luck!

Good uses for old clothes?

I work in a small resale shop in a small town. We get SO Much stuff, that we end up throwing away a lot of the 'less desirables'. We do give to the 2 nearby (within 100 miles of us) shelters but even they don't take stuff after awhile. Is there something better I could do with these old clothes other than throw them out? I ume you are doing PCR amplification of microsatellite regions. The reason you would have deviations from expected are often due to technical reasons. In general, the problem is that PCR overamplifies certain regions and/or underamplifies others. For instance, PCR may amplify more of a short region than a longer region which would lead to an over-representation in the ysis of the allele amplified from the shorter region. Also, sometimes an allele just can't be amplified for some reason and thus won't be counted in the ysis. What's upsetting my stomach? Nurse/Doctors' answers welcome!?

My stomach has been upset and gy since yesterday...I haven't felt sick enough to throw up, but it's enough to make me feel under the weather. I'm still eating, but I have smaller appetite than usual. Is this likely to be a stomach virus, or could it just as well mean I'm not used to the food at my new college? It's definitely less healthy than what I eat at home and has a lot more fat and refined grains/sugars in it. I'm hoping I'm not sick with something, so I thought I'd throw the question out. we put a limit on Christmas last year for the kids, we set a 400 dollar limit, DIL asked that we spend it all on a gift for our son. We agreed but told her that would be it, she agreed, and stated that the girls ( 2yr old twins) would not know the difference that they would receive lots of gifts from other relatives. We agreed with the gift (safety item for motocross racing) since she told us that the best gift we could give the girls was to make sure there daddy was safe. Come Christmas day all hell broke loose and our son was ticked because we did not send any gifts for the girls. We explained what we were told to do, he still was mad. I later heard from mutual friend that my DIL was telling people that we bought the girls nothing for Christmas. I was hurt and called my son to ask him to please tell DIL not to do that and if she was to tell anything to tell the whole story. The next day DIL called screaming at me and telling me that I was going to loose my son and that I was a horrible grandmother. We told our son what she had done and he more or less condoned her behavior. DIL will not take my calls or talk to either of us now for over a year.. We have been in communication with son, but it is estranged. I still send the girls gifts for almost every holiday, have talked to them on the phone, but was told by son just recently that I am not a very good grandmother. I told him it is hard to have relationship knowing the feelings of his wife, he informed me that when we were more in contact with his children and acted like better grandparents maybe she would come around and have something to do with us. He accuses me of never of liking his wife, I told him I love her I just don't appreciate her way of confronting me. They have lived 12 hours away for almost 4 years now, I have been out there 4 times have called and done video cams with them, sent the girls tons of gifts and it seems its never enough for him or her. I told my son that his father and I for some reason cannot do right by him, he said nothing. He complained alot abut his father and said some pretty mean things about him, but when I talked about his wife and how she needs to not confront me in that matter he becomes irate and hateful. What do we do. I could go on and on about this. Changing from par 30 to gu10 potlights?

i just moved into a house that went through some renovations so theres a few odd things about it. in the kitchen there are 3 potlights (dont ask why theres only 3, i have no clue). two of the potlights are old 4" can lights (where the bulb is recessed up inside) that use large par 30 screw-in bulbs. one of the potlights is a new style 4" flush potlight that uses gu10 bulbs. I am wondering if there is any easy way to convert the old potlight to match the new kind? I dont really want to tear out the fixture, patch the ceiling and install a new one. Does anyone know of a retrofit kit or something that would allow me to install a new trim piece and bulb housing or whatever, and leave the existing electrical box and everything? Thanks!

I've got no problem with religion, or with people believing in whatever god, but why do people take books to be totally without error? I've never understood that. Two people can read the same thing and come to different conclusions. Misplace a comma here, a letter there, the whole meaning can change. And when you add the fact that the Old Testament was written in Hebrew - a language which does not use vowels, and therefore often words can have more than one possible translation into another language, it is surely very easy for words to be translated or interpreted in different ways.

I have a gigabyte ga-7zx rev 5.1 mobo, and when the computer boots up, it says it is a ga-7zxh, and the everest program that I also used said it was a ga-7zxh. When I try to update the bios, it comes up with the error bios tag error. Can i force flash the bios by holding ctrl-home? Should I force flash it? Why did my check engine light come on after replacing spark plugs, wires and cyclender cover?

My spark plugs and wiring and tubing on my car cylinder (99 Plymouth neon) were drenched in oil. The problem got fixed... or so I thought. The people at advanced read it on their machine before it got repaired and said cylinder 2 misfired... When driving it it surge and kinda hesitate when accelerating. Check engine light came on and off... drove me crazy. After the car got repaired, same thing (a week later, after getting off of the interstate). my son had reflux very bad, and one of the symptoms is getting the hick ups. my Nana said to put a small pinch of sugar in his bottle with boiling water and when it cools down to room temp give it to him. it takes a couple of mins but it worked for him. unfortunately until the reflux goes he'll continue getting them. like with adults, cause i work in a pub, when some one has the hick ups we give them a shot of straight red cordial and the hick ups are gone. another thing i do is hold him to me tightly, pull up his legs and gently bounce him as i walk around the room, Good luck.

My pony naps towards the gate when i am competing, how do i stop her from doing this?

I wouldn't ever take her through the gate as one poster mentioned (my opinion), but what I would do is leave the gate open and tempt her with it. The moment she even leans towards the gate take her into small tight circles, and work her pretty good, make her give you her face and trot and really make her form and work for it. Make her do it both ways a few times, and then take her back to work. Keep repeating this till she realizes that when she leans towards the gate, she will have to work. Also make sure that you don't subconstiously think or look at the gate to send her mixed signals (not saying you do this, but sometimes people do things their not aware of). Since you know she will do this, people will be afraid their horse will do it again, unfortunately causing the horse to do it again. This isn't too bad of an issue to correct. If she doesn't do it at home, but only at shows, pick a few open schooling shows, and do just that, school. Don't worry about placing, worry about correcting the gate issue so when a bigger and better show comes along, she is not going towards the gate.

Can a toothache make you sick?

I had some fillings done in January, one of which ended up hurting so I had it redone. Since I've had it redone, I've been experiencing more pain with it. I can't chew food on the side of the mouth where the filling is and it constantly aches. Since I had it redone in early May, I have been chronically ill. Two cases of bronchitis which required two different sets of antibiotics (which gave me lots of other issues) and now I'm sick again with fever, nausea, vomiting and headache. Alas, antibiotics again. I'm usually healthy as a horse so this is very strange for me and I don't get great answers from the doctors I've seen. Is it possible one can be very ill from a minor toothache?

We live in a funny old country. Think about it. A few years ago, we decided to add to our stresses and woes by keeping shops open at weekends. Well and truly over. So - nowadays we can buy what we want a weekends - food, drink, clothing, household appliances, you name it. But what about if we become life-threateningly ill? Oh no, if that's the case, we have to sit tight until Monday and risk suffering in agony or infecting others or even dying in the meantime. So what does this peculiar choice of priorities tell us? Well, the message is - if you suddenly get a pounding headache when, unknown to yourself, you have a brain tumour the size of a rugby ball, it doesn't matter if you might only have 48 hours to live, because, hell, you can get yourself a bunch of bananas from Tesco or a nice new shirt from Primark. I mean WTF?? Most doctors earn up to �200,000 p.a. - you'd have the thought the very least they could do is work out some kind of shift pattern so that the surgeries are kept open at weekends.

My mom and I have always been really close, but lately she is driving me up the wall. I now have a two year old and am 23. I live with my fiance and my daughter only five min. away from my parents. Try to "hear" yourself when you speak. By this I mean when you write, you write better than when you speak, as you say, so try to speak in the same way you write: speak (read out loud) what you write, this should help, at least with English. I also took about 4 years to master it completely (grammar, spelling, structure). It takes time and patience, but it'll come the more you practice speaking proper grammar, trust me.

im fourteen years old (almost 15) going into 10th grade. i started dating this guy Todd the beginning of 8th grade. He was the BEST boyfriend ever. he would wait at the school doors before school started until i got there. i got lunch detention once and he stood in the bathroom until my lunch detention was over so i wouldn't have to walk to lunch alone. he called me right after school and we would talk until he had football practice and then he would call me after football practice and we would talk until we would get tired and we would fall asleep on the phone together. i told him secrets that not even my best friends knew. he would call me in the mornings on weekends before his football games because he couldnt go without hearing me say "i love you good luck". i had 23423424 of his sweat shirts, pj pants and t shirts and hats. we always used to do this thing "make a wish at 11:11 and he NEVER missed it. he made sure he ALWAYS called me for it. one time we got in a fight and he had to go to football practice so he hid his cell phone in his football helmet and talked to me at practice until we worked out the fight. my family fell head over heels for him, and so was i. my life at home was good, my relationship was todd was good, and my friends were good. my life was perfect. but then....we started getting attached to each other. his family was listening in on one of our fights and didnt like the cuss words i was using so from then on they had a grudge on me. one day his mom called my mom and told her that she will find a way to break us up. well summer came andddd his parents didnt let him see me. he snuck out once and came to my house. his family found out and that just made their opinion on me even worse. two days before my birthday, i got a text from him saying that he wanted to break up and if i loved him i would stop talking to him. so i did. i stopped texting him and i changed my facebook status to "single" and he read it and called me and had no idea what was going on. his mom then told him that she had been the one that had texted me and broke up with me as him. he is a very family strong kind of guy so when his mom and dad and told him that he couldnt date me anymore i guess he was tired of it and gave up. this was 11 months after dating. the rest of the summer we still had our late night phone calls and he still said he loved me and i was completely heart broken. 9 grade started and we had gym together. this is when things got messy.... i was still so in love with him. just seeing him made me cry. our lockers were right next to each other and he kept calling me telling me he loved me and then..he started asking to hang out and make out or send him "nics" and if i did this then he said he would date me again. i did for a couple of months until i realized he was using me. then one night after a football game it was homecoming dance and he came up to me and said that we should go to this park (it was night in the fall so it was pitch dark) instead of the homcoming dance. i went with him andddd we made out and he fingered me andd i gave him a hj and that was nothing knew. we did that when we dated. but then he wanted a bj and kept saying things like "if you love me youll do it" or "do it for me" sooooooo i did. and after that he didnt talk to me for 2 weeks. but when he finally did talk to me it was bc he wanted me to go over to his hosue when his parents wernt home and again, i did. we wereeee about to have but something told me it was a bad idea so i didnt. he didnt talk to me for a month after that. then when he did talk to me again it was bc he wanted to makeout. i made out with him and he told me he wanted to start over and date again after we worked things out. later that night he texted me and said "just kidding, its not gonna work". teachers were hearing rumors at school so they made it so me and todd had no cles or anything together and my sister made me promise her i wouldnt talk to him any more. so i stopped talking to him. some months later(june) at our formal dance at the end of the year he slow danced with one of my "friends" and i started crying and ran out. a couple nights later he texted me asking me why i was crying and i told him and he said he was sorry and that i loved me and missed me. he kept calling me and said he wanted to be friends. i thought that he was being sincere but then he started asking for nics again. i sent him one and realized that huge mistake. now he texts me sometimes just saying "lets have " or "i wanna f*** you" but today i started crying and texted todd that i miss him. he called me and said he wants to see me tonight that he loves me and misses me. then of course he asked for a nic. i said no and he begged and said he loved me but then hung out and is now texting me asking me to send him it. im not going to...but he has my heart and i cant stop crying

I heard a track from it I think, and I have to say it sounded much better than stuff from their last album but I'm still not a fan of them. I find it really annoying though that a lot of PATD fans are all complaining about this album because it sounds different and they want them to go back to their old style. I mean the critics actually gave this album mostly good reviews and their first album got all poor reviews and sounded terrible, but the fans still think that album is amazing.

Texas Paid Secutty Deposit, didn't sign lease landlord wont return deposit?

On May 30 my husband and myself decided to move into an apt. We filled out the Application and paid that fee and were told that we just needed to pay the Deposits. pay the rent and sign the lease. We paid 400(300 deposit+100 pet) and decided to wait on moving . We weren't supposed to move in until next Tuesday. After telling the owner of the complex this he just hung up .after multiple calls he told us that he was not going to return our deposit. We never actually signed a lease to the apartment. In fact the only thing that we actually signed was just an Application that has nothing to do with the deposit. (on the app there is nothing that states we must forfeit the dep) We contacted our attorney upon all of this, and wanted a copy of the only thing that we signed which was the application. He told us that he would not give us a copy until we told him we had an attorney. Then just told us he wanted a letter from them. What should we do from here and what rights do we have?

I think you should just wear something comfortable. I love SYTYCD and you're probably going to be jumping around and standing up most of the time so you might work up a sweat and a dress or a tight shirt might make you more sweaty or something. You shouldn't worry too much about what you're going to wear; I don't think anyone's going to care really. Everyone is just there to watch the dancers, not show off their clothes.

hey, right now i feel like crying. i have this weird feeling that something bad is going to happen, and dat i might die. 2 years ago i had the exact feeling and my grandad died,on the same day he died my feeling went away, and now im reallly scared dat i mite lose a loved one or dey might lose me. i have been sick 2 wks ago from kidney infection and strained muscle im better now, thanks to god. but sometimes these feelings are so strong that i cant even concentrate. I was giving him an additional $100.00 for my car insurance. This was to be a purely platonic tenant/renter relationship. After a year, I began a friendship with a co-worker. That is when my ex-husband served me with a 30 day notice to vacate. Over the next 30 days he continued accept the $699.00 and he also canceled my car insurance. Sever Sinus congest how do I get rid of it?

Can't Remember the Title of a Book?

The book was published in mid 90s -- it was a gothic horror/supernatural book -- I don't believe it was written by a major name author -- might have been a first novel. The book was about a family in the midwest with 2 children -- a boy and a girl. The family is poor and decide to garner some sympathy/money by having one of their children -- the boy (the older of the two children) -- fall down a well or a hole in the ground. However, the girl falls in instead -- the community gets her out, but she is forever changed by her experience. There is a lot of imagery with tree roots and the girl gets her mind warped by the experience and then, in later years, I believe she comes back for revenge.
